Disused air-raid shelter, Dilton Rough, New Forest
This is one of the few remaining military buildings on Beaulieu Heath, and has presumably survived because it is on private land just to the west of the fence that marks the western boundary of the heathland. (Only the foundations of buildings survive on the open heath, and some other low structures in the Hawkhill Inclosure). Another similar air-raid shelter survives about 50m to the south.
