Bishop's Bridge, Ceres
The 17th century bridge over the Ceres Burn gets its name from the Episcopalian Archbishop Sharp of St. Andrews who crossed over this bridge on 3rd May 1679 on his way to St. Andrews. A few miles further along the road at Magus Muir, he was killed by a group of local Covenanters.
