Ridge Way, Chiseldon
Ridge Way, Chiseldon
A minor road and ancient highway heading east from the A346. As you can see, it is not on a ridge here as it crosses the valley between Barbury and Liddington Castles. The modern long distance path takes a less direct route to the south and only briefly drops down to the valley at Ogbourne St George. Liddington Hill is in the background here, and is the site of Liddington Castle.
