The Hospitium of St. John, south face
This building in the corner of St. Laurence's Churchyard is one of few remaining from the time of Reading Abbey, when it was used as a dormitory for pilgrims. In 1485 it was extensively altered to become the Royal Grammar School of King Henry VII (later Reading School). Today it is occupied by a children's nursery. More information here : LinkExternal link
