Lossie Estuary and Beach
Lossie Estuary and Beach
The north shore of the Lossie Estuary is sheltered by the sand dunes on its seaward side, leaving an expanse of calm and relatively sheltered water. It also leaves an expanse of fine muddy sand which, at low tide, is unpleasantly soft to walk on but provides winter feeding for many migratory birds.
