SK2002 : Canal aqueduct over River Tame

Tamworth, Staffordshire, Great Britain

Canal aqueduct over River Tame
Canal aqueduct over River Tame
Three low arches carry the Coventry Canal over the River Tame at this point. The Tame often rises quite substantially such that I would expect these arches to disappear in time of flood, putting considerable strain on this bridge.
