TF9803 : The church of St Nicholas - corbel
near to Woodrising, Norfolk, Great Britain

The church of St Nicholas - corbel
One of the characterful corbels - this one is in the chancel arch.
After the collapse of the church tower in the 18th century, a thatched bell cage was erected in the northwestern corner of the churchyard; it houses one bell. The aisle is separated from the chancel by an uninscribed table tomb, with two squints into the chancel at each end. The walls are adorned with a number of interesting corbels. The church is kept locked but a key is readily available. For more information see: Link
