James Smith & Sons, New Oxford Street
One of London's classic shop fronts: James Smith & Sons, makers of umbrellas, sticks and canes, was founded in 1830 and is still a family business. The firm moved to New Oxford Street in 1857 and the shop both inside and out has remained virtually unaltered since Victorian times.
