Lower Fore Street
Lower Fore Street
Leading down to the river with the Tamar Road Bridge to the left. The suspension bridge was completed in 1961. Before that date this road led down to the Saltash Ferry, which was the main crossing point to Plymouth from Cornwall. The Torpoint Ferry is now the only vehicle ferry into Plymouth.
