The Ship Inn by the River Severn
The Ship Inn by the River Severn
This is believed to be Highley's first inn, having been built in 1770 mainly to serve the bargemen working on the River Severn. It is not in the village itself, but fronts onto a private road which runs by the side of the River Severn.
