Rime deposit on vegetation
This vegetation was facing into the wind blowing during the previous night when there was thick freezing fog. Super-cooled minute droplets of water froze on impact with the twigs and produced a winter-wonderland effect for 1 day, of twigs encrusted with opaque rime. But on the other side of the hedge, out of the wind, there was no ice deposited.
