Looking down on the A50
The junction of the A50 and A38 is a three level interchange. The A38 (not seen here) runs at what appears to be about the natural ground level. The A50 is in a cutting beneath that. Built up above both is the junction roundabout. The result is that it's quite a way down from the roundabout to the A50.
