SX1873 : Colliford Lake

taken 10 years ago, 3 km from Bolventor, Cornwall, Great Britain

Colliford Lake
Colliford Lake
This part of the reservoir is a nature reserve. The low promontory on the right is an island separated from the mainland by a narrow channel of water. The fence posts are a more reliable guide to the vertical than the telegraph pole!

Cornwall's highest point, Brown Willy is in the distance, with The Beacon on the right.

Taken just north of Gillhouse from the road running the length of the reservoir along the eastern side.
