TA1566 : Bessingby Hall

taken 9 years ago, near to Carnaby, East Riding of Yorkshire, Great Britain

Bessingby Hall
Bessingby Hall
Looking northwest across The Park from Main Street. The hall is described as a modern building in Bulmer's History and Directory of East Yorkshire (1892), presumably having replaced an earlier hall on the same site which was home to the lords of the manor at Bessingby. The hall is now a residential and nursing home.
