SO2688 : Crossing the Unk

taken 18 years ago, near to Mainstone, Shropshire, Great Britain

Crossing the Unk
Crossing the Unk
Offa's Dyke Path descends again, this time to the valley of the River Unk. The Dyke is quite visible here, to the right of the fence and crossing the valley. After the river it goes up through Nut Wood clearly seen by the brown line through the trees. We had been following a walker all day, but never caught up with him. Here he is, about 200 metres ahead of us as always.
