Derelict Farm Buildings, Harford Farm
Derelict Farm Buildings, Harford Farm
Harford Farm has several very large, fairly modern, buildings, but these are all derelict now, and the area is strewn with old tyres, and rubbish. Before the southern bypass cut off the lane beyond Harford Farm, which used to lead to Markshall, the farm had a large farm shop, using the buildings, where Norwich people could buy fresh produce. Presumably the business failed, as there seems to be no other obvious reason why the farm shop could not still be successful - could it be the close proximity of a major supermarket?
