Hamilton Mausoleum
Hamilton Mausoleum was built in the nineteenth century for the tenth Duke of Hamilton as a burial vault and place of worship but its echo made it unsuitable to use for worship. It is, however, its echo which has made the mausoleum famous with a fifteen second echo making it one of the longest in the world.
