Victoria Tower, Houses of Parliament, London SW1
The Victoria Tower was completed in 1860 and was at that time the tallest secular building in the world. The flag on top shows that Parliament is sitting. The small gothic memorial in the foreground is the Buxton Memorial and commemorates the abolition of the slave trade.
