The tomb of Sir Richard Herbert of Ewyas (died 1510)
The tomb of Sir Richard Herbert of Ewyas (died 1510)
Elaborate wall arch tomb and alabaster effigy of Sir Richard Herbert of Ewyas, son of the Earl of Pembroke. Probably not actually a knight or a Sir. No records of any connection with Ewyas. His descendants probably claimed these to puff him and therefore themselves up a bit / a lot.
