Hummock-scape between Ocknell Inclosure and Winding Stonard, New Forest
This boggy area which drains into Highland Water has formed itself into hummocks. They are quite hard and do not collapse if you tread on them. See also SU2411 : Hummock-scape in the Ocknell Inclosure, New Forest . The woodland at left is the edge of Winding Stonard.
