38 Bishopsgate used to be the London headquarters of Standard Chartered Bank. It is situated opposite the junction of Threadneedle Street and Bishopsgate. Opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1986, this building was demolished in c2010 and one of the tallest buildings of London is being constructed on the site.
