Bridgewater Canal Near Moore
Bridgewater Canal Near Moore
The opening of the Bridgewater Canal in 1772 had a major impact on the village of Moore which was cut in two. Moore Hall, built in the 1700's, was cut off from the rest of the village by the canal but it also brought trade into the area.
