Redundant quarry near Trusham
There are several small redundant metalliferous quarries near here. This one is on both sides of the Teign Valley road between Chudleigh and Doddiscombsleigh near Rydon. Most date from the 13th century, not a lot will grow on them now, recent tests have shown there to be traces of arsenic among the spoil.
