Organic Pork
Organic Pork
The pigs here are reared organically. They are not fitted with nose rings to prevent them grubbing in the earth, and they are free to eat worms or anything else they find. A sow has on average ten piglets, and they are left here with their mothers for eight weeks before being taken away for fattening. Spynie House, in the background, is just inside the next square.
