Ram and Raddle
Ram and Raddle
I think the sheep on the left is a ram wearing a raddle. This contains a dye which marks the ewes that have been mated. If artificial insemination is used to improve the genetics a vasectomised ram (called a teaser) is used. The marked ewes are ready for insemination.
