Stream Gully below Catchment Cut-off, Slippery Moss
Stream Gully below Catchment Cut-off, Slippery Moss
The effect of the interception of the streams from Slippery Moss by the Green Withens Reservoir Catchment Drain can be seen in these gullies. No surface water is visible but the vegetation changes from the tussocky moorland grass to moisture-loving spiny grasses - I need help with the names.
