Lower Moor Hey Farm used to be in the foreground, as shown on maps of 1850 and 1940. The lane squeezed through the yard. The name has been transferred to a late 19C farm to the south. The lane is part of Elland path 21 (Elland because it was in the Elland UD after 1937).
