Dry dock at Falmouth
Dry dock at Falmouth
One of several in the dockyard. Interesting how ship design has changed in the 30 years between this 1970s picture and the present day as in SW8132 : Dry Dock, Falmouth. Modern ships now have a bulb at the front to prevent excessive bow-wave turbulence, which improves fuel economy.
