Cycle path leaving the Hursthill Inclosure, New Forest
The off-road cycle route leaves the southern corner of the Hursthill Inclosure here, before it follows the southeastern edge of the Queen's Meadow. The enclosure is surrounded by old woodland, and within the enclosure there are areas of old oak remaining from the original planting in 1808. [Source: Terry Heathcote's "Discovering the New Forest"]
