TQ0747 : Bridge over Tilling Bourne at Shere

Bridge over Tilling Bourne at Shere
This early Black & White photograph shows that these cottages were, at one time, businesses, a Cleveland Filling Station with one pump just visible in the opening before the awning. This scene has changed very little in the intervening years. 3 youths and an old man decorate the bridge, whilst 2 young girls view the water the other side of the road.
