Thimbleby Reading Room
Thimbleby Reading Room
The reading room was originally built through public subscription [1908/9] and also served as a venue for village events and dances, and for providing teas on days when the village cricket team played at home [the former cricket ground was behind the hall]. This changed in the 1960's when the property changed hands and was eventually converted for domestic use.
