TQ9072 : Crane barge "Seawork Solidarity"

taken 17 years ago, near to Queenborough, Kent, Great Britain

Crane barge "Seawork Solidarity"
Crane barge "Seawork Solidarity"
US built steam crane barge formerly used in Poland, hence the "solidarity" part of the name. The big crane furthest from the photographer was steam powered but when seen was run by compressed air. This was still in use in 2000 and had just come back to base having been loading cargo in the estuary.
