Fice's Well - Dartmoor
Fice's Well - Dartmoor
Fice's Well with its inscribed canopy - IF and the date 1568. The story goes that Sir John Fice and his wife were stranded here in the mist. They drunk at the well and then rediscovered their path. They built the canopy to commemorate the event. In the middle background lies Dartmoor Prison.
