Main vehicular entrance to the 200 hectare Prestwich Forest park. Philips park was the home of the Philips family LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) from the late 18th century until 1948. The north lodge was built from the remains of Outwood Lodge which was demolished towards the end of the 19th century.
