Skipton station
This was immediately before electrification works began and, knowing what British Rail could do to a station, I was fearful for the splendid wrought iron canopy supports. Two of the unloved 'Pacer' units (there are still plenty around even in 2008) can be seen, but at least for passengers to Leeds and Bradford, something better is on the way.
