Crickhowell views - far and near
Drivers going west along the A40 as it squeezes its way through Crickhowell are rewarded with views up towards the landslip scar of Darren (on the left) and the tilted block of Crug Hywel (on the right). The town itself is constrained in its growth by these Old Red Sandstone hills to its north and the Usk flowing on its southern flanks.
