The visitor centre in the converted station houses a reproduction of a Victorian saloon carriage, as used by Her Majesty Queen Victoria to journey between Windsor and Ballater in 1869. Costing 450,000, the carriage is a reproduction of the original carriage at the National Railway Museum in York.
