Greenhithe: High Street
Greenhithe High Street contains a truly diverse range of buildings, from old to modern, and three different styles are shown here. The attractive building in rough and knapped flint with brick facings is presumably a former chapel converted into a residence. The white building has suggestions of a jettied front and may be older than the flint building while the last building is a single pair of semi-detached houses with very large semi-circular bay windows.
