NS2893 : Eastern slopes of Beinn Chaorach

taken 10 years ago, 4 km from Edentaggart, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

Eastern slopes of Beinn Chaorach
Eastern slopes of Beinn Chaorach
Looking down into Gleann na Caorainn from the northwest ridge of Beinn Chaorach. As usual in the Luss Hills, the slopes are steep, smooth and grassy.
Taken after a rather vicious hailstorm, which can be seen departing. A day of very high winds. Gunfire could just be heard over the wind, coming from the ranges above Faslane. The OS show these ranges to extend to this ridge, but there are no signs, flags or access restrictions here.
