Workings at Caernant Quarry
Caernant was owned by the Croft Granite Co who owned the land north of Afon Nant Gwrtheyrn, including Ty Uchaf Farm. The quarry was linked by a tramway to the jetty at Port Rivals. It became disused in the 1950s.
