The church of St Giles - view east
The church of St Giles is a big church that used to be even bigger before its aisles were demolished. The now filled in arches and the pillars of the arcades can still clearly be seen > TG2633 : The church of St Giles - view northeast. Greatly restored during the 1850s, the oldest survival is a wall painting above the chancel arch > TG2633 : The church of St Giles - wall painting; it depicts Christ in Judgement, sitting on a rainbow, and dates from the 15th century. The church is open every day. For more information see: Link
