The church of St Giles - view northeast
TG2633 : The church of St Giles - view east is a big church that used to be even bigger before its aisles were demolished. The now filled in arches and the pillars of the arcades can still clearly be seen here. Greatly restored during the 1850s, the oldest survival is a wall painting above the chancel arch > TG2633 : The church of St Giles - wall painting; it depicts Christ in Judgement, sitting on a rainbow, and dates from the 15th century. The church is open every day. For more information see: LinkExternal link
