SD8961 : St Michael's graveyard path

St Michael's graveyard path
St Michael's graveyard path
The path from Main Street through the graveyard at St Michael's. The flagstone at the bottom of the photo has a large letter 'D' inscribed on it. I am grateful to David Tippey for the information that the 'D' refers to the fact that there is access to a drain under the slab, and has nothing to do with the patron of the church, the Duke of Devonshire. See also SD8961 : Letter 'D' in St Michael's graveyard path.
In 2008 David Tippey is Archivist and Webmaster for Malham Local History Group LinkExternal link
