Parting of the ways, St Giles
Parting of the ways, St Giles
This is the point at which the two major routes north diverge, the left being Woodstock Road and the right, Banbury Road. The War Memorial stands at the apex with St Giles' church behind it.
In early September each year for the past 200 or so, the whole of St Giles', including the ends of these two roads, is closed off for the three-day St Giles' Fair, one of the biggest and oldest in the UK.
