The ridge east of Sgurr a' Mhaoraich
The ridge east of Sgurr a' Mhaoraich
In the foreground, marked as the subject position on the map, is the one rocky bit on the ridge, where an abrupt change in the crest requires an easy scramble; the iron stakes driven into the rock here were to assist in lowering deer carcasses. Beyond, easy walking leads to the twin summits of Sgurr Coire nan Eiricheallach. Gleouraich can be seen in the distance.
