taken 13 years ago, near to Pentre, Wrexham/Wrecsam, Great Britain

Top edge of Darland Wood
Top edge of Darland Wood
The steep bank of the Afon Dyfrdwy is wooded and the trees are generally mixed broadleaf. At the top of the bank the fields revert to arable / grassland. The wild hops are growing in great profusion this year, presumably as a result of the warm damp summer.
