Sea Mills
Sea Mills
Sea Mills, a hamlet on the far side of Little Petherick Creek, is the site of a former tidal mill, Trevorrick Salt Water Mills. The tidal pound can still be seen. A public footpath supposedly leads down the hill, across Trerethern Creek, along the strand of Little Petherick Creek, and then across the creek to Sea Mills: it's difficult to imagine this was ever an attractive prospect, even (at low tide) for the mill workers!
