SK5770 : Brick construction holding water

taken 10 years ago, near to Meden Vale, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

Brick construction holding water
Brick construction holding water
One of the WW2 brick constructions that made part of the complex around the Meden Vale area that was allegedly used for ordnance and munition storage and possibly testing. A friend told me that children from this area a few decades back had the best shell casing collections around!

This building is actually found within Hatfield Plantation and looks like some sort of water storage. The brick that it is made from is marked "Welbeck".
