Hertingfordbury: Former Hertford to Welwyn railway
The former Hertford & Welwyn Junction Railway was opened in 1858 and closed in 1951. This is the trackbed west of the former station at Hertingfordbury looking towards Welwyn. It now forms part of National Cycle Network Route 61 which will ultimately connect Dorney near Maidenhead with Rye House Station where the River Stort joins the River Lee.
