NT2156 : Pine trees, Auchencorth Moss

taken 13 years ago, 3 km from Leadburn, Midlothian, Great Britain

Pine trees, Auchencorth Moss.
Pine trees, Auchencorth Moss.
The surviving trees of a small woodland in the midst of Auchencorth Moss, a place famed for having almost no features marked on the Ordnance Survey maps. Like most "featureless moors" it's not so featureless when you get on to it.
